Background Of The Firm
Financial Consulting Group (FCG) is a specialized retirement consulting, investment management and administrative firm. Founded in 1996, the firm serves businesses, organizations, and individuals with cost effective strategies and solutions. FCG professionals have vast experience working with businesses in many specialized areas of retirement plans including Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOP), cash balance, and other specialized retirement plans. Our investment management professionals have vast experience in working with organizations and individuals in achieving their investment goals and objectives. The FCG professionals work with individuals and families to achieve estate and retirement planning objectives. Our work with community banks for the past three decades has made us a preferred Bank Owned Life Insurance (BOLI) investments provider and consultant. Each business and individual have unique problems and opportunities and FCG provides a customized solution for each of our clients.
The firm’s partners, directors, and associates have vast experience as advisors to businesses and individuals in the areas of retirement consulting/ administration, investment management and advisory services, BOLI, estate and tax planning, and accounting. Their collective academic and professional designations include three CPAs, one J.D., one LL.M., two Master’s in Tax Accounting, two Master’s in Business Administration, one Certified Financial Planner (CFP), three Certified Employee Benefit Specialists (CEBSs), a Qualified Pension Administrator and a Certified Pension Consultant.
Financial Consulting Group (FCG) consists of a group of seasoned professionals from the financial, legal, and accounting industry. The firm has combined these individuals and resources into a specialized consulting and administrative firm that provides both qualified and non-qualified retirement planning options. FCG works closely with plan sponsors to create low cost, flexible, and highly competitive solutions.
Many of FCG’s retirement and professional benefit programs are individualized. Every business has unique issues and opportunities; FCG provides a customized solution for each of our clients. We have experience in all aspects of retirement plans from design, implementation, monitoring, administrating, and in some cases termination.
FCG is both a specialist and an administrator of Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOP). When looking to implement an ESOP for one’s business, many owners are deterred by high costs and complexity. FCG offers a cost effective and easy to understand approach to implementing an ESOP.
FCG principals were at the forefront of “bank owned life insurance” (BOLI) programs having served as the executive officers of Banking Consulting of America (BCA), one of the initial national BOLI consultants. BOLI continues to be a tax efficient method to offset employee benefit costs.
FCG has a diversified, experienced, and trustworthy group of professionals to assist our clients in achieving their investment goals and objectives. We meet with our clients to discuss their short term and long term objectives as well as their tolerance for risk. We will also help them define their cash flow needs and identify any specific situations or preferences that each may have. From this review, we can identify an investment program designed to achieve those objectives.
The program constructed for each client can be as simple as setting up a budget or as complex as an estate plan. Once constructed, we continue to monitor the program and communicate with the client to determine if adjustments are needed due to changing market conditions or personal situations.
